Downtown Wabash, Inc. highlights city’s history, culture with Wabash Cultural District map

WABASH, Ind. (WPTA) – Downtown Wabash, Inc. shares it has begun distributing a Wabash Cultural District map that highlights the city’s history and culture.

Downtown Wabash, Inc. says the Wabash Cultural District map provides a guide to the Wabash Cultural District, making navigation easier for visitors.

Downtown Wabash was designated an Indiana Cultural District by the Indiana Arts Commission in 2021.

The Wabash Cultural District map was done in coordination with Downtown Wasbiash, Inc.’s 8-year strategic plan to increase awareness of the Wabash Cultural District and promote economic growth, community engagement, tourism, collaboration, and accessibility within the Wabash Cultural District.

Downtown Wabash, Inc. says visitors and interested community members can pick up a free Wabash Cultural District map at the office of Downtown Wabash, Inc., Visit Wabash County, the Honeywell Center and several businesses throughout Downtown Wabash and Wabash County.

The Wabash Cultural District map was made possible with the support of the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
